Nissan Adds a Rock Creek Kicks
The 2027 Nissan Kicks Rock Creek has a distinct look, an off-road driving mode, and enhanced performance across different types of terrain. The front and rear fascias have been blacked out for a bolder look. All-wheel drive is standard, as is a set of unique 17-inch wheels.
Outdoorsy Friendly Features
Inside, there's Rock Creek branding on the floor mats and seats. Enhancements over the standard Kicks SV include ambient interior lighting, rear automatic braking, an intelligent around-view monitor (like a 360° parking camera), heated front seats, heated mirrors, and rear heating ducts.
If you’re having a hard time understanding the purpose of the Rock Creek Nissan Kicks, think of it as a version of the affordable Kicks that weekend skiers or campers might like.
While the enhancements won’t top the Jeep Wrangler in terms of pure off-road performance, the Rock Creek treatment includes meaningful features that add up to an affordable little SUV that can handle snow, fire roads, campground trails, and cold weather.
Cool Look for $50
For 2027, the Kicks Rock Creek will be the most expensive version of the Nissan Kicks but is only $50 more than the top-of-the-line SR all-wheel drive trim.
MSRP for a 2027 Nissan Kicks Rock Creek is $30,385, including destination
MSRP for a 2027 Nissan Kicks SR AWD is $30,335, including destination.
Buyers can outfit a Nissan Kicks SR with many of the features found on the Rock Creek version and get, kinda, the same vehicle; what you won't get is the unique badging, Rock Creek-specific 17-inch wheels, Rock Creek-branded seats, and a unique upper grille, exterior trim, mirrors, amber daytime running lights, and a gloss black treatment on the front and rear.
You could look at the Rock Creek treatment as an appearance package, but for only $50 more than a Kicks SR with all-wheel drive, it’s certainly worth it just to have a unique-looking Kicks. But more than just an appearance package, Nissan has pieced together the features and options that will most appeal to a person who likes to use their small SUV for both on- and off-road adventures.
Look for the Rock Creek version of the Nissan Kicks to go on sale in the summer of 2026.
