Are more luxury and high-performance EVs coming? After the Leaf kicked it all off, more EVs followed. Many are expensive - $40,000 - $60,000 is the norm. There are exceptions.
Audi and Porsche have cool-looking EVs, like the e-tron EV and Taycan but those are quite expensive too.
For example, the Nissan Ariya is much more of a luxury EV than something like the Leaf or Chevy Bolt. Maybe it should have been an Infiniti? The Ariya has already been discontinued.
The 2027 Chevy Bolt above has a base price of $27,800. That's what's needed: more affordable EVs. More affordable gas-powered cars would be good too. Kia's EV3 is on the way too.
What are some good candidates for affordable electric cars?
Nice concept car Nissan Leaf is. This is more fantastic than a BMW model.
