Kia has been on a roll in recent years. Maybe it was the Telluride that kicked it off in 2019 (2020 model year), but the Kia Cadenza, Sorrento, and Sedona contributed to the extra attention as well.  Now, there's an all-new Telluride, a new Sportage, and an updated minivan, the Kia Carnival. Production of the Kia Sportage Turbo Hybrid has begun at the Hyundai Motor Group (HMG) Metaplant near Savannah, GA. The small SUV is so popular that it is also built at a dedicated Kia facility in West Point, GA. This very successful SUV has been built at Kia’s West Point, Georgia, facility since its introduction in 2019. The new Telluride is a completely new SUV and is now available as a hybrid.
