Kia Sportage Hybrid Being Built at HMG Metaplant

Production of the Kia Sportage Turbo Hybrid has begun at the Hyundai Motor Group (HMG) Metaplant near Savannah, GA. The small SUV is so popular that it is also built at a dedicated Kia facility in West Point, GA. Kia has built 5 million vehicles in West Point, Georgia. This 2027 Telluride hybrid represents that achievement The 2027 Kia Telluride is now making its way to dealerships and customers. This very successful SUV has been built at Kia’s West Point, Georgia, facility since its introduction in 2019. The new Telluride is a completely new SUV and is now available as a hybrid. The Georgia plant also builds the EV6, EV9, Sorento, and Sportage.
